Join the Welfare Team

The Welfare team is recruiting!

We are looking to expand our team.  Please have a look at the Welfare Officer Job description if you would be interested in volunteering at the club.  The role requires a DBS check and two training courses in the first instance.

The team meets regularly (currently via video link) to discuss the club welfare and how we can work to ensure a safe and happy environment for children, young people and vulnerable adults.  You would need to be able to dedicate a few hours per month to the role.

This is a position of trust and would suit a community-minded person.  No connection to the club or knowledge of gymnastics is required.  Experience of working with children would be of benefit and you might come from a social care, police, teaching, nursing or nursery nursing or coaching background, or be someone with a genuine care for the children in our community.
